International Leather Works is an Indonesian tannery that specializes in exotic leathers with the highest quality available in Indonesia. Located in Bogor near Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia. International Leather Works started from the idea to develop the native product of Indonesia such as lizard, python and crocodile skin to the world stage.
We believed that with the best raw material available, extensive specific knowledge combine with the commitment to research and development are the keys that bring International Leather Works to the International stage.In such a young age, Internation Leather Works already supplies high quality exotic leather to famous fashion houses and customers around the Globe.

Machineries
PT. International Leather Works currently employs more than 200 peoples and operates over 40 drumming machines. Over the past 10 years, we have been positioning ourselves to specialize in Lizard and Python skins whereby both product has achieved good quality for European market.
Currently our machines vary from Drumming Machines, Buffing Machines, Polishing Machines, Automatic Spray Machines, Glazing Machines, Oven, Plating Machines, Shaving Machines, Ironing Machines, Milling Drums, Light Boxes and Boiler for steam production.
Laboratorium
The company has in-house laboratorium and create our own Research & Development team that continuously work to find new finishing that comply with certain physical requirements and REACH chemical using standard. We have several testing equipment to make sure our quality abides by REACH EU Regulation such as Dry and Wet Abrasion Test Machines, Flexometer Test Machines and Xeno Test Machines.
Abrasive Wear Test
Abrasive Wear Machine is used for wear-resistant testing of various types of leather. Testing is carried out using dry, wet and with artificial sweat.
Flexometer Machine
Flexometer machine is used to determine the flexural resistance to be folded back and forth
Xeno Test Machine
Xeno Test is used to test leather subjected to lighting, rain, condensation, temperature, humidity, wind and other climate changes
Facilities & Machineries
PT. International Leather Works currently employs 50 people and operates over 40 drumming machines.
Over the past 8 years, we have been positioning ourselves to specialize in Lizard and Python skins whereby both product has achieved good quality for European market. Currently our machines vary from Drumming Machines, 3 sets of buffing machine, 1 polishing machine, 15 spray booths, 5 glazing machines, 5 sets of oven, 2 plating machines, 3 shaving machines, 1 ironing machine, 3 milling drums, 2 light boxes and boiler for steam production.
Apart from various machines, the company has testing equipment for dry abrasion as well as ceramic testing. This is used primarily for watch strap leather production. We have recently set up in-house formaldehyde laboratory to test for all batches to make sure our quality abides by REACH EU Regulation.
